introduction

Cuviello Concrete offers applications for indoors, outdoors, residential and commercial applications. Anywhere there is concrete we can stain it up to 75 different colors. Is your driveway, patio, pool deck, garage floor, sidewalk unsightly? Is it discolored, faded, blotchy? Do you need to match old to new concrete? Does it have stains from vegetation, rust or oil? Do you have a concrete floor in your house or business that needs that little extra zip? We can stain/dye it creating one consistent color or a variegated/mottled look. For that extra pizzazz we can cut decorative designs into it.

NOTE, NOTE, NOTE: Companies that acid stain have to put a topical coating on top because the acid stain only reacts with the surface of the concrete and they do not hardener the concrete. Without the coating the stain will walk off leaving traffic patterns. Companies that acid stain also add the coating to keep the stained concrete from staining from spills. Acid staining only reacts with the surface of the concrete by exposing it to acid. The acid reacts with the lime in the concrete to create the color. We use a coloring that is more of a true dye/stain that goes into the concrete and not just the surface. We then harden the concrete to LOCK the coloring in.

Companies that acid stains do not know of or understand the concept of hardening concrete as we do. Hardening concrete comes from the concrete polishing industry. We come from the concrete polishing industry. Hardening will increase the concrete abrasion resistance by up to 400%! Very rarely will you ever find a company that does both stain and polish. Most companies either stain or polish but not both. They are two distinct market segments within the same industry.

This is an advantage that Cuviello Concrete has over other companies. We understand not only polishing concrete but are able to take what we know about polishing and integrate it with the staining/dying of concrete. We have the knowledge of two markets within one industries were others only have knowledge of one.

Attempting to use an acid based stain or any other stain not designed to specifically work with a concrete hardener may immediately cancel each other out or lead to long terms issues that appear long after the contractor has collected his money and walked out the door.
